Forklift Operator - Vancouver, WA Temp-to-Hire | $25-$28/hr DOE

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our client's lumber yard operation in Vancouver, WA. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a stable, Monday-Friday day shift schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Operate large capacity forklifts (19,000-21,000 lb. capacity Heister/sit-down)
• Move and manage lumber inventory throughout the yard
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and organization
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Communicate effectively with warehouse and yard team members

Requirements:

• Proven forklift experience - must be comfortable operating a 190/210 or larger lift (Heister 19,000-21,000 lb.)
• Experience in a lumber yard or building materials environment preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit for extended periods while operating equipment
• Ability to work in an outdoor/industrial environment
• Must be able to perform pre/post equipment inspections

Compensation & Details:

• $25-$28/hr depending on experience
• Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Temp-to-hire - great opportunity for long-term placement
