Job Description: Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a skilled Rough Terrain Forklift Operator to join our client's manufacturing facility located in Sparks, NV. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating rough terrain forklifts and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Operate rough terrain forklifts to move materials throughout the manufacturing facility
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and other vehicles as needed
- Transport materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and workstations
- Inspect forklift equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and equipment usage
Requirements:
- Prior experience operating rough terrain forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime on Fridays as needed
