Forklift Hyster 155 - 280 Operator- Day Shift

Salary: $22+ DOE

A client of ours in Tualatin is looking to add a Forklift Operator to their team. The ideal candidate for this role would have prior experience in material handling and moving steel.

This is an evaluation of the hire position

Duties:

• Operate a Hyster 155 TO 36000 and Hyster 280; this is a heavy industrial forklift.
• Work with and be able to move FL material up to 50 feet long and loads up to 40k lbs.
• Transport materials throughout the facility to support production and shipping operations.
• Load and unload steel products from customer and company trucks.
• Evaluate load sizes and perform lifts safely using proper lifting practices.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance or product issues.
• Store products in the warehouse and stock the equipment yard.
• This position requires you to work indoors and outdoors.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Must have proven expreince operations a Hyster 155 mid to high capacity loads
• Attention to detail is required
• Strong attention to safety and quality standards
• Prior experience with moving steel required
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs., sit, stand, walk, bend, etc.

Pay: $22-$24/hr.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM- 5 PM
