Qualifications for Forklift Mechanic
- Previous vehicle experience
- Machine repair experience considered
- Previous forklift operation experience is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude
- Troubleshooting ability
- Ability to lift at least 50#
Responsibilities for Forklift Mechanic
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks
- Change batteries
- Perform inspections: lights, straps, brakes, etc.
- Troubleshoot problems
- Perform repairs
- Maintain shop equipment and inventory
- Complete work order documentation
