Job Description:
As a Forklift Operator, you'll be responsible for operating propane-powered forklifts to move, load, and deliver materials throughout the facility. This role also includes material tracking, documentation, and coordination with supervisors to ensure on-time production flow.

Responsibilities for the job include:

• Operate forklifts safely by moving levers and pedals to drive and control lifting apparatus.
• Inspect forklift before initial use each day.
• Fill and maintain all propane tanks and accessories.
• Review production schedules and confer with supervisors to determine material requirements.
• Track and requisition materials to meet production needs and job order priorities.
• Examine delivered material for accuracy and conformance to specifications.
• Arrange in-plant transfer of materials to keep production on schedule.
• Calculate amounts of material needed for job orders.
• Maintain manual or computerized records (inventory, production reports, status, and material location).
• Transport materials between departments as required.
• Arrange repair or assembly of materials and parts when necessary.
• Monitor and control movement of materials across the facility.

Experience Required:

• 2-5 years of Forklift Experience at the same job
• Previous warehouse or dock experience preferred.

Skills Needed:

• Safe and skilled forklift operation.
• Ability to follow production schedules and supervisor instructions.
• Strong organizational skills to track and maintain material records.
• Good communication skills and reliability.

Work Schedule:

• Monday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Tuesday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Friday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Saturday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Sunday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
