Night Shift Loader
Position Summary:
We are hiring dependable team members to organize loading docks and load delivery trucks according to route sequence. Key Responsibilities:
- Load trucks accurately and efficiently based on route order
- Operate forklifts or similar equipment (training/certification provided if needed)
- Stage, secure, and wrap materials to prevent damage during transport
- Inspect materials for damage and report issues
- Optimize load configurations for efficiency and safety
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist with inventory replenishment as needed
Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Strong commitment to safety and PPE compliance
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently or as part of a team
- Warehouse experience preferred but not required
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing
- Regular lifting up to 60 lbs; team lifting up to 100 lbs
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying conditions
Work Environment:
- Moderate to loud noise levels
- Indoor warehouse with occasional outdoor exposure
