As a Reach Truck Operator, you'll play a key role in managing warehouse inventory and logistics. You'll ensure the safe handling of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods, while supporting smooth and timely shipping operations. You'll also use ERP software to track inventory and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
Note: The interview includes a hands-on equipment test-so prior experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and store raw ingredients and packaging supplies per company guidelines
- Rotate inventory using the First Expired, First Out (FEFO) method
- Pick and transfer materials to operations as needed
- Return unused items to storage
- Pick and ship finished goods using the First In, First Out (FIFO) method
- Ship products via shuttle or direct to customers, ensuring quality and compliance
- Use ERP software for inventory and order tracking
- Maintain cleanliness in all warehouse areas (dry, cooler, freezer, shipping docks)
- Monitor and report inventory discrepancies
- Safely operate forklifts and other equipment
- Follow food safety and storage protocols
- Collaborate positively with leads and operations teams
- Report any issues to leads or managers
Physical Requirements:
- Work in dry, cooler, and freezer environments
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand and walk for up to 2/3 of the workday
- Work in cold, wet conditions
Required Skills:
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with attention to detail
- Basic math and reading proficiency
