Express Employment Professionals is seeking a forklift driver/ yard worker candidate for a local distribution center. This role is key in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, operating forklifts, and preparing orders for shipment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with forklift operation and inventory control, along with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Load and unload shipments with accuracy and care.
• Receive, store, and organize products in designated locations.
• Perform regular inventory counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders according to company standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Previous forklift operation experience required.
• Experience in inventory control and warehouse operations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team setting.
