Shift Hours: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Compensation: $15.64 per hour + Possible Tips

Job Description:

We are seeking Waste Disposal Assistants to join us for 'Free Dump Day.' This one-day event aims to help community members dispose of their waste safely and efficiently. We are looking for reliable and friendly individuals to assist in unloading waste from customers' vehicles, particularly brush and yard debris, mulch, pine needles, and grass.

Responsibilities:

• Unload waste materials from customer vehicles.
• Sort and organize waste materials into designated areas.
• Provide excellent customer service, be friendly, and take initiative to assist customers.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Wear sturdy work shoes or boots and gloves, and dress appropriately in layers for varying weather conditions.
• Utilize provided safety vests to ensure visibility.
• Bring packed drinking water and a lunch to sustain yourself throughout the day.
• Adhere to a strict 'safety first' policy.

Requirements:

• Must be punctual and reliable.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to the safety of yourself and others.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must have your own transportation to the job site.
• Remember to bring your time card and ensure it is signed before leaving.
