Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $30-32/hour ($62,400 - $66,560 annually based on 40 hours/week)
- Schedule: Consistent 40 hours/week, year-round | Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM start time
- Position requires travel to various job sites throughout the Vancouver area
- Company vehicle provided with GPS fleet management system

Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Coordination:
- Manage multiple residential construction projects from start to finish
- Schedule and coordinate field crews and subcontractors
- Conduct safety training and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Oversee quality control and project timelines
- Maintain daily communication with management (morning/end-of-day check-ins)
- Provide progress photos and brief project updates from job sites
- Manage preventive maintenance of company vehicles and equipment
Hands-On Construction Work:
- Carpentry: Framing, finish work, trim installation, drywall repair
- Insulation: Installation of various insulation types in attics, walls, and crawl spaces
- HVAC: Basic ductwork installation, sealing, and system maintenance
- Painting: Interior/exterior prep work, priming, and finish painting
- Energy Efficiency: Weatherization, air sealing, window and door installation
- Train and mentor crew members through hands-on demonstration
- Operate and maintain construction tools and equipment
- Perform quality inspections and make corrections as needed
During Winter Months:
- Administrative support and project documentation
- Contractor relationship development and vendor management
- Spring project planning and estimation
- Equipment inventory and maintenance coordination
- Process improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
Essential Construction Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years of residential construction experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple trades
- Hands-on expertise required in at least 3 of the following areas:
- Carpentry and framing
- Insulation installation (blown-in, batt, spray foam)
- Basic HVAC installation and ductwork
- Interior/exterior painting and surface preparation
- Energy efficiency improvements and weatherization
Leadership Experience:
- 1-2 years of supervisory or lead experience in construction or related field
- Proven ability to train and mentor construction workers
- Experience managing job schedules and coordinating with subcontractors
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills for on-site construction challenges
- Excellent communication skills - comfortable with daily updates and progress reporting
- Self-motivated and accountable with ability to work independently
- Commitment to safety protocols and quality standards
