Concrete Worker Pay: $18.00 per hourJob Type: Full-TimeLocation: Linn & Benton Counties Job Summary Express Employment Professionals is seeking dependable and hardworking Concrete Workers to support residential and light commercial concrete and construction projects throughout Linn and Benton Counties. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in hands-on work, and are interested in building a career in the construction industry. Previous construction experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train motivated candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude. Key Responsibilities Assist with concrete preparation, placement, and finishing activities Support crews on sidewalks, patios, driveways, slabs, curbing, excavation, and other construction projects Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment Prepare and maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites Dig, rake, shovel, and perform general labor duties as needed Assist with setting forms and site preparation Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively Follow all company safety policies and procedures Work closely with crew members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule Perform physically demanding work throughout the day in varying outdoor conditions Qualifications Required: Ability to lift 50 pounds or more on a regular basis Reliable transportation and strong attendance record Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work effectively in a team environment Valid driver's license Preferred: Previous construction, landscaping, excavation, or concrete experience Experience using basic hand and power tools Familiarity with job site safety practices What We Offer Starting pay of $18.00 per hour On-the-job training and skill development Opportunities for advancement within the construction trade Consistent, hands-on work in a team-oriented environment Opportunity to gain experience in concrete, excavation, and general construction Schedule Full-Time Monday through Friday Overtime opportunities may be available based on workload and weather conditions Ready to start a career in construction?
