Express Employment Professionals is seeking a hardworking and dependable General Laborer / Pallet Builder for a growing manufacturing operation. This position involves building and repairing pallets using hand and power tools, working both inside the mill and outdoors in the yard, and assisting with material handling throughout the facility.

General Laborer / Pallet Builder
Pay: $20-22.50 DOE
Schedule: Full-Time
Location: Sparks, NV
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a hardworking and dependable General Laborer / Pallet Builder for a growing manufacturing operation. This position involves building and repairing pallets using hand and power tools, working both inside the mill and outdoors in the yard, and assisting with material handling throughout the facility.

Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Building, repairing, and assembling pallets to company specifications
- Operating hand tools, power tools, saws, and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling lumber materials
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the facility
- Assisting with general labor tasks in both the production mill and outdoor yard
- Operating a forklift as needed (experience preferred)
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Inspecting completed pallets for quality and accuracy
- Following all company safety procedures and guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous experience in general labor, construction, manufacturing, woodworking, or pallet building is preferred
- Experience using saws, hand tools, and power tools
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the entire shift
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions when performing yard duties
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks in a fast-paced environment
