Construction General Laborer - Immediate Opening in Cowlitz County

Location: Cowlitz County, WA | Pay: $22 per hour | Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (Overtime available on Saturdays depending on workload)

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction General Laborer for our client in Cowlitz County. This is a full-time, hands-on position where you'll play a vital role in supporting a busy construction site. If you enjoy working outdoors and have a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Preparation & Clean-Up: Clean and prepare construction sites to ensure they are safe and organized for daily work.
• Material Handling: Load and unload construction materials and equipment to support job site operations.
• Concrete Formwork: Assist with building, disassembling, and cleaning concrete forms and other temporary structures.
• Pressure Washing: Clean returned products and equipment using a pressure washer to maintain cleanliness and functionality.
• Tool Operation: Operate hand tools and power tools, including impact guns, for various construction tasks.
• Outdoor Work: Perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools (impact guns, drills, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Previous construction or general labor experience preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Must be dependable, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and carrying.
• Must be comfortable working in various weather conditions and performing manual labor.
• Must be ok with working outside in the weather.
