Express Employment Professionals Cincinnati East is now hiring a Glazier to join a full-time team in Mason, OH. The Glazier is responsible for cutting, assembling, installing, and replacing glass in a variety of settings, including commercial, residential, and industrial applications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards to ensure quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Core Functions:

• Measure, mark, and cut glass to specified dimensions using hand tools, power tools, or automated equipment.
• Install glass in windows, doors, display cases, mirrors, skylights, storefronts, partitions, and other fixtures.
• Remove broken, cracked, or defective glass and prepare surfaces for new installations.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine specifications and materials required.
• Assemble and install metal frames, sashes, or moldings for securing glass.
• Apply sealants, weatherstripping, and other protective materials to ensure a secure, watertight fit.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as glass cutters, grinders, suction cups, and lifting devices.
• Follow OSHA, company, and industry safety protocols at all times.
• Maintain an organized and safe work environment both on-site and in the shop.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
• Transport glass and related materials to job sites, ensuring safe handling to prevent damage.

Skills & Requirements:

• Proficient in measuring, cutting, and fitting glass with accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills for custom or irregular installations.
• Comfortable working at heights, on scaffolding, and using lifting equipment.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy glass sheets (often 50-100+ lbs) safely.
• Basic math skills for measuring, calculating dimensions, and estimating materials.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or apprenticeship preferred).
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a glazier, glass installer, or in a related trade.

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed both indoors (workshop) and outdoors (on-site installation).
• Frequent standing, bending, lifting, climbing, and reaching required.
• May involve exposure to loud noises, glass dust, adhesives, and sealants.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive hourly wage based on experience, $23-$29
