Lumber Puller (Green Chain) Location: Sweet Home, OregonJob Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Thursday: 5:30 AM – 3:00 PM Friday: 5:30 AM – 9:30 AM Overtime available as needed About the Opportunity We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Lumber Puller (Green Chain) to join a busy lumber remanufacturing operation. This position is responsible for pulling, sorting, and stacking lumber from the production line to help maintain a safe, efficient workflow. Key Responsibilities Pull lumber from the production line at a consistent, safe, and efficient pace. Sort and stack lumber neatly on carts, pallets, or designated storage areas. Maintain production flow by working efficiently while meeting quality standards. Perform repetitive lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crawling throughout the shift. Work both indoors and outdoors as production needs require. Follow all safety procedures and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Learn new tasks quickly and adapt to changing production demands. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth production operations. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a productive team environment. Qualifications Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced, repetitive production environment. Physical stamina to perform frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crawling throughout the workday. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE use. Ability to follow instructions and learn new processes quickly. Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Positive, dependable, and team-oriented work ethic. Comfortable working in a loud industrial environment. Basic math skills are helpful but not required. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Physical Requirements This position requires continuous standing, walking, repetitive lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping, crawling, and moving lumber throughout the workday.
