Grill Cook - Franklin, MA
Schedule: Full Time -- Friday, Saturday, Sunday 11:30AM-7:45PM and Monday 12-8:15PM
Pay: $22.85/hour
Our client is looking for a dependable and experienced Grill Cook to support food service operations in a school setting. The position requires hands-on experience with a flat top grill and fryer, along with the ability to read and speak basic English to accurately use the kitchen ticket system.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate food using a flat top grill and fryer
- Read and accurately follow printed and mobile order tickets
- Ensure proper portioning, quality, and presentation
- Assist with food preparation and overall kitchen operations
- Keep the grill station clean, organized, and stocked
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Work efficiently and collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Qualifications
- Previous Grill Cook or Line Cook experience in a high-volume kitchen
- Hands-on experience operating a flat top grill and fryer
- Ability to read and speak basic English to use the ticket system
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
