Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Handyman to assist with the maintenance and upkeep of residential and/or commercial properties. This position will perform a variety of general maintenance, repair, and property improvement tasks while ensuring properties are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout rental properties.
- Complete basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and fixture repairs.
- Repair doors, cabinets, locks, faucets, toilets, and other property fixtures.
- Perform minor appliance and equipment repairs as needed.
- Complete turnover and make-ready work between tenants.
- Assist with interior and exterior property maintenance.
- Perform landscaping, yard cleanup, and other outdoor maintenance as needed.
- Identify maintenance issues and report larger repairs or safety concerns to management.
- Respond to maintenance requests and complete work in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and properly use tools and equipment.
- Assist with other property maintenance duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous handyman, maintenance, construction, or property maintenance experience preferred.
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair common property maintenance issues.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license may be required.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance requests.
- Professional and courteous when interacting with tenants, property owners, and management.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment as needed.
