Diesel/Trailer Mechanic - Heavy Duty Fleet

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Pay: $30-$40+ per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel/Trailer Mechanic to join our growing team in Phoenix. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and fleet equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, trailers, and heavy-duty equipment
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance
• Inspect and repair braking systems, electrical systems, suspension, and hydraulics
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, drivers, and team members

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Diesel or Trailer Mechanic (heavy-duty preferred)
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, air brake systems, and electrical diagnostics
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced shop environment
• Valid driver's license (CDL a plus)
• Own basic tools (advanced tools provided)
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in shop/outdoor environments
