Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators, front‑end loaders, dozers, dump trucks, rollers, and water trucks
- Perform trenching, sewer line installation, electrical digging, and other utility‑related tasks
- Assist with coordinating on‑site construction activities while maintaining safety and quality standards
- Conduct routine inspections, basic maintenance, and proper care of equipment
- Communicate effectively with project managers and crew members to meet project goals and deadlines
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in construction or utility work
- Strong understanding of excavation, trenching, and underground utility installation
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Commitment to safety, quality, and teamworK
- Clear communication skills and a dependable work ethic
