Housekeeping Inspector (Full-Time)

Our Client, a busy hotel in Somerville, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Inspector to support daily housekeeping operations in a hotel environment. This role is responsible for inspecting guest rooms and public areas, supporting housekeeping staff, and ensuring cleanliness and brand standards are consistently maintained.

Location: Somerville, MA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-5:00PM
Pay: $21.00/hour

Responsibilities:

• Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and presentation
• Support and assist housekeeping staff throughout daily operations in rooms and public areas
• Update room statuses using the property management system
• Communicate guest concerns, maintenance issues, and supply needs to management
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and hotel standards are maintained
• Assist with training support and additional housekeeping duties as needed
• Ensures that lost and found procedures are followed

Qualifications:

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
• Must be dependable and professional
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Comfortable working with cleaning products and housekeeping equipment
