Job Summary: We are looking for an HR Coordinator to join a growing team. Duties include:
General HR Administration & Recordkeeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, employment contracts, benefit information, and training records.
- Track employee attendance, including handling time-off requests and maintaining the vacation calendar.
- Ensure all HR documentation is organized, readily accessible, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Draft and file disciplinary letters related to attendance.
- Assist with record audits and mandatory reports such as I-9 audits, EEO-1 filings, and other compliance-related reviews.
Onboarding:
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including scheduling drug screenings, physicals, and orientation.
- Provide new hires with necessary paperwork, such as tax forms and employment agreements, and assist them with completing the documentation.
- Maintain and prepare new hire orientation packages, offering support and guidance throughout the onboarding process.
Payroll Support:
- Collect, verify, and enter employee timesheets and hours worked into the payroll system.
- Address payroll inquiries from employees and generate payroll reports as needed.
- Assist with payroll-related data entry and review, ensuring accuracy in employee pay and time records.
Recruitment:
- Support recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews and coordinating background checks and pre-employment screenings in conjunction with the HR Manager.
Training and Development:
- Track employee training attendance and maintain comprehensive training records.
- Provide training on company HR policies, including harassment prevention, and other compliance topics.
HR Projects:
- Assist with implementing new HR systems and other department initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in ADP preferred and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Familiarity with state and federal HR laws and regulations.
Pay: up to $28/hr, BOE
