Three-month evaluation-to-hire opportunity!
Duties:
- Assemble air handling units and subcomponents using hand and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving assembly issues.
- Assemble industrial air solution units from the ground up
- Ability to use Impact Driver and Power Drill and drill into steel
- Use of alcohol to clean off metal and the outside of units as needed
- Use a caulking gun to secure all air units inside and out to prevent water leakage
- Comfortable getting on a 4ft step ladder
- Operate scissor lift to install in high-reach areas
Qualities, Skills, and Physical Abilities:
- Able to be on your feet for 10-hour shifts while wearing steel-toed boots or shoes on concrete
- Able to consistently use an impact driver, power drill, and a caulking gun throughout the entirety of the shift
- Flexibility to work in other departments as needed, based on workflow needs
- Safety-minded and attention to detail
- Able to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
