HVAC Service Technician
Location: Newton, MA
Pay Rate: $35-$45/hour
Schedule: Full-Time

Our client is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC/R systems while delivering strong customer service and maintaining high technical standards in the field.

Essential Duties:

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R equipment to ensure system performance and efficiency
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and determine proper repairs
• Communicate findings, options, and pricing clearly to customers
• Complete approved repairs and installations to industry standards
• Maintain a clean, stocked service vehicle
• Complete required paperwork and service documentation accurately
• Participate in training and company meetings

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years HVAC/R service, maintenance, or installation experience (preferred)
• Ability to independently troubleshoot as a lead technician
• Read wiring schematics, blueprints, and technical documents
• Brazing and soldering skills
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work on ladders/rooftops
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record (required)
• Must have and maintain required tools
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately and timely

Certifications (Preferred):

• EPA Certification (Type I, II, III or Universal)
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
• Refrigeration license or ability to obtain
