Job Overview:
We are seeking a dependable Industrial Coatings Technician to join our team. In this role, you will prepare, coat, and finish industrial chutes and other metal components. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare industrial chutes and metal components for coating by cleaning, sanding, grinding, and masking surfaces.
- Apply industrial paints, coatings, and protective finishes according to specifications.
- Inspect coated chutes for quality, coverage, and adherence to customer requirements.
- Operate spray equipment and other coating tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform touch-ups and minor coating repairs as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
- Assist with loading, moving, and positioning large chute components throughout the production process.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing, industrial painting, or coating experience preferred.
- Ability to work with large metal components and industrial chutes.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in an industrial environment.
