Express Employment is partnering with one of the world's largest end cap producer, is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to support and improve manufacturing operations in a metal stamping and fabrication environment. The role focuses on process improvement, productivity optimization, and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity and reduce waste
- Develop and maintain standard work instructions and process documentation
- Perform time studies and workflow analysis to optimize production efficiency
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
- Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve process issues
- Support implementation of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist with production layout planning and equipment utilization
- Monitor production performance metrics and recommend improvements
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 3+ years of industrial engineering experience in manufacturing (preferred)
- Experience with metal stamping, machining, or manufacturing operations preferred
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methods
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP/manufacturing systems
- Ability to work both on the production floor and in an office environment
