Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify the cause of equipment failures.
- Repair and replace worn or damaged machine components.
- Inspect machinery and equipment to identify potential maintenance concerns.
- Perform routine maintenance and adjustments to keep equipment operating efficiently.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance needs.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and properly.
- Assist with equipment installation, setup, and modifications as needed.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and document repairs.
- Follow established safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area.
- Work closely with production personnel and other maintenance team members.
- Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience working on machines and equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work 2nd shift.
