You will work hands-on with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Success in this role means quickly identifying issues, making effective repairs, and keeping equipment reliable across shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Diagnose and resolve PLC-related issues to restore equipment functionality
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment to reduce unplanned downtime
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Weld and fabricate parts as needed for repairs and modifications
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete timely repairs during production
- Document maintenance work and communicate issues to leadership and incoming shifts
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance or machinery maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems
- Working knowledge of PLC systems and basic diagnostics
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial equipment repair
- Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics
- Basic welding skills for repair work
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise and moving equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced PLC troubleshooting or programming experience
- Experience in high-speed manufacturing or production environments
- Formal training or certification in industrial maintenance or a related field
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
- Manufacturing facility with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 50 lbs
- May require climbing ladders and working in tight or elevated spaces
- Use of standard maintenance tools and personal protective equipment required
