Industrial Mechanic - $25-$40/hr DOE | Full-Time | Denver, CO
Experienced with AC/DC motors, pumps, gearboxes, and rotating equipment? If you've worked as an Industrial Mechanic, Motor Technician, Pump Mechanic, or in any role involving mechanical diagnostics and repair, this is a strong opportunity to join a respected Denver repair and rebuild facility. This role offers competitive pay, long‑term stability, and the chance to work hands‑on with a wide range of industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose incoming motors, pumps, gearboxes, and rotating equipment • Disassemble, repair, rebuild, and reassemble industrial AC/DC motors, generators, and related components • Perform mechanical rebuilds on motors, pumps, fans, and gearboxes • Measure and record data using micrometers, dial indicators, tables, and vibration meters • Use multimeters, meggers, Baker instruments, and test winding resistance, RTDs, heaters, fits, and clearances • Participate in daily operations discussions regarding customer equipment • Prepare repaired units for shipment and ensure quality standards are met
What We're Looking For
• 2-6 years of AC/DC motor repair experience preferred • Ability to diagnose and repair motors, pumps, fans, gearboxes, and rotating equipment • Strong mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting skills • Ability to follow training, safety procedures, and operational instructions • Basic math skills and strong attention to detail • Self‑starter with high motivation and a strong work ethic • Willingness to work overtime and weekends when required
