Position: Industrial Mechanic / Millwright

Location: Fairfield, OH

Shift: 3rd Shift

Compensation: $29 an hour

Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical manufacturing equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs using CMMS programs.
• Inspect machinery and equipment to identify potential failures and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electromechanical production equipment issues.
• Operate all equipment safely and effectively.
• Provide guidance and training to new or junior employees to ensure safe, efficient, and quality work practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the Manufacturing Industry is required
• Previous experience with Industrial Maintenance is required
• Previous experience as a Millwright is required
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to detect malfunctions, determine root causes, and implement effective repairs.
• Proficient in disassembling and reassembling mechanical components.
• Ability to perform basic welding and machining tasks.
• Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, drives, and interpreting electrical schematics is a plus.
• Ability to interpret AutoCAD drawings, blueprints, and technical sketches.
• Working knowledge of CMMS systems is preferred.
