Inside Sales / Account Manager

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Location: In-Office Position

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales/Account Manager to join a growing manufacturing company. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys building customer relationships, managing accounts, and serving as a key liaison between customers and internal teams. The successful candidate will have prior experience in a manufacturing environment and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
• Prepare quotes, process orders, and ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and follow-up.
• Coordinate with production, operations, and purchasing teams to meet customer requirements.
• Resolve customer concerns and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Track account activity and maintain accurate customer records.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Inside Sales, Account Management, or Customer Service experience.
• Previous experience working within a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment required.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience preparing quotes, processing orders, and managing customer accounts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
• Frequent use of a computer, telephone, and office equipment.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to walk through manufacturing and warehouse areas as needed.
