We're hiring an Insurance Sales Agent for a well-established, locally owned insurance agency based in Tigard. You'll be joining a small, experienced team led by a long-time industry pro who's passionate about mentorship and helping agents succeed.
This role is all about helping people find the right coverage-auto, home, renters, and possibly commercial lines too (depending on your interest and experience). You'll also support existing clients with occasional service needs, but your main focus will be growing your own book of business and building strong client relationships over time.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Sell personal lines insurance policies (auto, home, renters) with the potential to expand into commercial lines
- Build and manage a personal book of business through warm leads, referrals, and community networking
- Meet with clients to assess their insurance needs and offer tailored coverage options
- Assist with minor policy changes, billing questions, and basic service needs for existing clients
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy details
- Work closely with agency leadership to continuously develop your product knowledge and sales strategy
