The Recruiting Coordinator ensures a steady flow of qualified applicants to fill job orders with urgency by creating, managing, and executing our Recruiting Plan of Action. This role is essential to our office's success and involves building a network of recruiting contacts, sourcing candidates, and managing our online recruiting presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a recruiting plan to ensure a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Analyze workforce needs and prepare reports to monitor applicant flow and hiring efficiency.
- Maintain recruiting materials and manage recruiting budget.
- Conduct daily recruiting activities to generate a strong candidate flow.
- Contact 100% of online applications and inbound resumes daily.
- Schedule and confirm interviews, aiming for high show rates.
- Make a minimum of 100 recruiting calls per week.
- Write and post job ads for open positions.
- Market 'Top Jobs' to associates and community contacts.
- Document all recruiting activity in our system.
- Build relationships with community-based contacts (employment departments, non-profits, veterans' groups, colleges, etc.).
- Represent Express at local job fairs and community events.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of recruiting and/or customer service experience.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines and daily commitments.
- Must maintain a valid state driver's license and be able to travel locally for recruiting activities.
- Ability to climb stairs and carry marketing materials as needed.
Working Conditions:
- Office-based with occasional travel to community events and meetings.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods and perform a normal range of body motion.
