Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily field survey operations as Party Chief on assigned projects.
- Perform and supervise ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and related field data collection.
- Operate and maintain surveying equipment, including GPS/GNSS, robotic total stations, and data collectors.
- Direct survey crew activities and ensure field work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
- Verify field measurements, control points, and survey calculations to maintain quality standards.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Professional Land Surveyors (PLS), and office staff to support successful project delivery.
- Collect, organize, and submit complete field notes, sketches, photographs, and digital survey data.
- Identify and resolve field issues, site access challenges, and boundary discrepancies.
- Maintain surveying equipment and ensure it is properly calibrated, stored, and ready for use.
- Follow all company safety policies and applicable surveying standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a Party Chief, Land Surveyor, or in a similar field surveying role.
- Experience performing ALTA/NSPS, boundary, and topographic surveys.
- Proficiency operating GPS/GNSS equipment, robotic total stations, and data collectors.
- Strong understanding of field surveying practices and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret survey plans, maps, and property information.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to lead and direct a field crew effectively.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot field issues.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
