Express Employment Professionals, Dayton South, is now hiring a 1st shift Lawn Aeration Technician for the Centerville, OH area for $19.00/hour (also based on experience). Hours are Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:00pm. Some Saturdays MAY be required.

• Responsibilities:
  
  
  • Operate and maintain specialized equipment like core aerators and spreaders.
  • Perform core aeration by using machinery to perforate the soil, allowing for better air, water, and nutrient flow to the grass roots.
  • Inspect turf conditions and advise clients on lawn care needs.
  • May perform other related tasks such as over-seeding, fertilization, or weed control.
  • Maintain accurate logs and inspection forms.
  • Build relationships and provide excellent customer service.
  • Follow safety practices and perform routine equipment checks.
  
  Skills and qualifications:
  
  
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to handle and operate lawn care equipment.
  • Must be able to backup a 12ft trailer behind up a pickup truck.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a professional, dependable demeanor.
  • Ability to learn and communicate technical, industry-related information.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Background check, MVR, and drug screen required.
  • Experience in lawn care or aeration.
  • Formal education in horticulture or turfgrass management can be beneficial but is not always required.
