Key Responsibilities
- Perform and lead through-hole and surface-mount soldering operations following IPC standards
- Train, guide, and support soldering and assembly team members to ensure quality and efficiency
- Inspect solder joints, components, and assemblies for accuracy and compliance
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly documentation
- Maintain workflow, prioritize tasks, and ensure production goals are met
- Assist with rework, troubleshooting, and quality corrections as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of soldering experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
- Prior lead or mentoring experience strongly preferred
- Ability to solder to IPC‑A‑610 standards (certification a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions
- Good communication skills and ability to support team members
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently when needed
