Contract Paralegal - 4 Week Assignment

Position: Contract Paralegal (Leave Coverage)

Duration: 4 weeks

Compensation: $29.00 per hour

Employment Type: Temporary Contract

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced paralegal to provide temporary coverage during a leave of absence. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to our legal team while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Paralegal certification or equivalent legal support experience
• Minimum 2-3 years of paralegal experience (or similar legal background)
• Proficiency in legal research and document preparation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited program
• Familiarity with court filing procedures and deadlines

Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys with case preparation and research
• Draft legal documents and correspondence
• Maintain case files and legal databases
• Schedule depositions, hearings, and client meetings
• Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as directed
