Local Intermodal Truck Driver - PM Shift Job Image

Kansas City nights are when this intermodal work happens, with your shift running on the PM schedule out of the yard at 4100 Kentucky Ave, Kansas City, MO 64116. Each shift brings multiple dispatches, with a mix of live load and drop and hook freight.

Most runs stay local, and some go as far as 150-200 miles from the rail ramp. Overnight stays happen only occasionally, so you are home multiple times per week.

Your Shift:

  • PM schedule

  • 10-12 hours per day, 5 days a week

  • Optional 6th day available for extra pay

  • Every dispatch begins and ends at the intermodal yard

Lane Details:

  • Local and longer dispatches up to 150-200 miles from the rail ramp

  • Mix of live load and drop and hook freight

  • Occasional overnight stays

  • Home multiple times per week

Equipment:

  • Top of the line trucks with automatic transmissions

Requirements:

  • Valid Class A CDL

  • 21 years of age or older

  • 3+ months of recent Class A CDL experience

  • Reliable transportation to commute to and from work
