$25.00/HR - $36.00/HR - Based on experience and skill

Schedule:
Day shift! No weekends! 4x10 schedule - Fridays off! OT offered.

Diesel or gas engine repair experience - (1-3 years)

Job Duties / Requirements:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on locomotive engines, and related equipment
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and repair manuals
• Conduct preventive maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, brake inspections, and tire checks
• Repair and replace components such as transmissions, brakes, steering systems, and suspension parts
• Inspect vehicles for DOT compliance and ensure all safety standards are met
• Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication as needed for equipment repair
• Maintain accurate service and repair records
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to complete repairs on time and within company standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment at all times
