We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable individual to join our manufacturing team as a Production Machine Operator. This role involves operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring product quality, and contributing to a safe and efficient work environment. #1939ST

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery, making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal performance.
• Measure and record product data using computer systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues as technical skills develop.
• Perform machine and part changeovers with increasing proficiency.
• Maintain strict quality control standards by interpreting control charts and adjusting processes to meet product specifications.
• Reject products that fall outside of acceptable tolerances.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Occasionally operate a forklift to manage raw material inventory and finished goods.
• Complete daily production documentation accurately.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on machinery.
• Communicate effectively with team members across shifts.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Ensure equipment is properly shut down or locked out when not in use.

Additional Duties

• Support other production areas as needed.
• Take on various tasks as assigned.
• Demonstrate reliability, initiative, and attention to detail.

Qualifications & Skills

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and comparators.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for operating equipment and computers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Preferred experience includes:
  • CNC programming
  • Operation of tools such as lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, drill presses, and saws
  • Blueprint reading and interpretation

Pay: $24/hr. to start

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6 AM-4:30 PM
