Pay Rate: $22.65 per hour
Job Description: A local company is searching for a 2nd shift Machine Operator. This dynamic manufacturing environment is growing and is looking to hire a collaborative worker who will help grow the company to a new level of production. Machine Operators work mostly independently and at times with limited supervision.
Our client offers an opportunity to gain on the job training, with the hope to cross-train. There are weekly and monthly goals in order to complete production goals and schedules. You will set up, operate, and control machines on trial runs to verify accuracy of machine/motor settings.

Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading the Ganesh, Laser, and Lathes
- Operate Shot Blast and Hand Grinders
- Pulling and returning dies to and from the warehouse
- Quality control inspection
- Machine cleaning and minor maintenance
- Cleaning dies
- Dot peening
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Steel/metal handling preferred
- Attention to details
- Forklift experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Continuous standing, walking, climbing, crawling, bending, and lifting.
- Regular lifting of 20+ lbs - occasionally 50+ lbs.
Candidates must pass pre-employment: drug screen, physical and detailed background check.
What We Look For:
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment including with diverse high-speed machinery.
- Attention to detail, specifically in following production procedures.
- Safely and accurately operate equipment.
