Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general facility maintenance, repairs, and preventive upkeep to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. This role supports equipment reliability and building operations through routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and general facility issues
- Support building systems including plumbing, lighting, and HVAC-related tasks
- Respond to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Assist with equipment installations and facility improvement projects
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
- Support general facility upkeep as needed
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or facility environment
- Experience with Integrated Pest Management (IPM) preferred
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems a plus
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to read and interpret basic technical instructions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work as needed
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
