Manual Machine Operator/Set-Up

Pay: $19.50-$21.00 per hour

Hours & Shifts:

1st Shift - 6:30am-3:00pm (M-F) 

2nd Shift - 2:50 p.m. - 11:20 p.m. (M-F)

A growing Northbrook company is searching for an experienced Set-up Machine Operator to work in a fast-paced production environment! This dynamic manufacturing environment is growing and is looking to hire a collaborative worker who will help grow the company to a new level of production. Machine Operators work independently and as part of a team, at times with limited supervision.

You will work with senior Machine Operators/Set-up and other skilled tradesman, offering an opportunity to gain on the job training. You will set up, operate, and control machines on trial runs to verify accuracy of machine/motor settings.

What we look for in Machine Operators Set-up:

• Prior experience as a set-up machine operator
• Attention to detail, specifically in following production procedures
• Safely and accurately operate equipment as assigned
• Load and unload raw materials and equipment
• Set up and calibrate accessories and equipment
• Keep detailed records for equipment and procedures
• Perform necessary maintenance and cleaning on equipment
