About the Role

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a full-time Manufacturing Assembly Operator (2nd Shift) for a precision manufacturing facility in O'Fallon, MO (63366).

This role features a great 4-day work week (Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts) so you can enjoy 3-day weekends! In this position, you will assemble and load fixtures, perform precision quality checks, make basic welder/fixture adjustments, and operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts. What You Will Do

• Assembly & Setup: Assemble, install, align, load, and unload fixtures or assemblies according to strict technical specifications.

• Quality Assurance: Submit first-off sample parts to QA for approval; make necessary adjustments to welders or fixtures to ensure parts match blueprint specifications.

• Precision Measurement: Perform basic measurements and quality checks using calipers, micrometers, scales, and gauges.

• Material Handling: Safely operate both Stand-Up and Sit-Down Forklifts to load, unload, and move materials across the plant.

• Materials Prep: Verify and ensure all required parts, materials, and hardware are staged and ready for production runs.

• Safety & Compliance: Follow all safe work procedures, plant rules, and personal protective equipment protocols.

What You Need

• Technical & Math Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Strong basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers, fractions, and decimals).

• Equipment Experience: Hands-on experience operating both Stand-Up and Sit-Down Forklifts.

• Quality Tools: Familiarity using precision tools including calipers, micrometers, scales, and gauges.

• Reliability: Excellent attendance, daily punctuality, and reliable transportation to O'Fallon, MO 63366.

• Screening: Willingness to complete standard pre-employment evaluations and background checks.
