Manufacturing Technical Writer -CONTRACT

Location: Mason, OH

Pay: $25-$30/hr

Job type: 4month contract

Requirements:

• Technical writing experience with the ability to create clear, engaging, and accurate training documentation.
• Experience documenting business processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and other content creation tools, including AI-assisted technologies.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into user-friendly learning materials.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills in a cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities:

• Review existing manufacturing processes and document current workflows for functional training.
• Develop engaging learning modules and training materials using Word, AI tools, videos, and other instructional resources.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and training effectiveness.
• Organize and maintain training documentation, job aids, and instructional content to support employee development.
• Continuously improve training materials based on process updates, stakeholder feedback, and best practices in adult learning.
