Job Overview:
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support our Marketing Department, which drives success for multi-million-dollar home services businesses nationwide. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in all aspects of marketing, from coordinating marketing requests and managing financial processes to assisting with data entry and planning team events and outings. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Marketing Department, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within the team.
- Marketing Coordination: Respond to and coordinate the distribution of marketing-related requests for information and materials.
- Travel Coordination: Assist and coordinate travel and accommodations for various leaders within the marketing department.
- New Marketing Employee set up: Coordinate with IT and HR to ensure new marketing employees are set up with laptops, email and more.
- Data Cleanup and Validation: Perform data cleanup and validation tasks to maintain accuracy and integrity of marketing data and results.
- Payment Processing: Ensure all marketing invoices are properly accounted for, accurate, and paid across all applicable brands in a timely manner.
- Report Preparation and Data Management: Prepare reports, conduct data entry, and gather requested marketing materials; create presentations as needed to support marketing initiatives.
- Supply Inventory Management: Maintain department supply inventory by checking stock levels, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders, and verifying the receipt of supplies.
- Event Planning and Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating marketing-related activities, events, and outings, including logistics, vendor communication, and on-site support to ensure successful execution.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support the marketing team and overall company objectives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a marketing support or administrative role.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing software/tools.
- Experience tracking invoices and expenses.
- Experience building simple spreadsheets to track expenses.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work effectively.
- Experience with payment processing and budget management is highly desirable.
