Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a local manufacturing client to hire a reliable and motivated Material Handler. This role plays a key part in supporting production operations by ensuring materials are received, stored, and delivered accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipments
- Accurately pick, stage, and deliver materials to production areas
- Load, unload, and move materials using pallet jacks, forklifts - sit/stand propane, or hand trucks
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts
- Prepare materials, including labeling and documentation
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain an organized, clean work environment
- Collaborate with warehouse, production, and shipping teams to meet daily goals
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or similar role preferred
- Ability to work at a face pace and work indoors and outdoors.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer or inventory system experience a plus
- 2+ years of forklift experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
