SUMMARY:

Assembles vacuum pumps and peripherals, tests and calibrates units to meet tolerances and product specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assemble a variety of pumps and peripherals
• Testing units to meet tolerances & product specifications
• Maintaining the companies rigid quality assurance standards
• Note information to work orders as required
• Works under limited supervision

QUALIFICATIONS

• Mechanical aptitude
• Manual dexterity
• Ability to work in fast paced team environment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures
• Ability to build multiple types of pumps

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Regularly required to talk, and hear. Stand for extended periods, walk; use hands to fingers, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Use manual and power tools safely
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch
• Frequently lift and or move up to 35 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment characteristics are those of a production facility with temperature controlled assembly area.
