Mechanical Assembler - Pay $18–$22/hr DOE
Location: Northbrook, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM (Overtime available)
We have partnered with a local manufacturing company to hire a Mechanical Assembler. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude who enjoys working with their hands in a clean, team-oriented environment.
What You'll Do
- Assemble mechanical components using hand and power tools
- Read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
- Perform basic testing and troubleshoot assembly issues
- Complete production documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
What Makes You a Great Fit
Previous mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints or assembly drawings
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail and quality
Basic math and communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
