Key Responsibilities
Medicare & Insurance Duties
- Assist clients with Medicare-related insurance needs and coverage options
- Educate customers on available products and help them make informed decisions
- Recommend Life, Disability, Medicare Supplement, and related insurance solutions
- Prepare quotes, applications, and policy documentation
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional insurance products
- Develop confidence from prospective clients
- Respond to client questions and policy service requests
- Process policy updates, changes, and renewals
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with Washington State insurance regulations and agency procedures
Qualifications
Required
- Active Washington State Life & Disability Insurance License
- Medicare insurance experience
- Strong consultative customer service skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Professional and client-focused approach
Preferred
- Active Washington State Property & Casualty License
- Willingness to obtain a Property & Casualty License
- Previous insurance agency experience
- Experience developing new business and retaining client accounts
