Express Employment Professionals is seeking reliable and motivated Manufacturing Technicians for a growing manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for supporting production operations, ensuring product quality, maintaining safety standards, and operating production equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate power tools and manufacturing equipment, including saws and grinders
- Perform final visual inspections to ensure products meet quality standards
- Label and package finished products according to customer specifications
- Track production quantities and monitor efficiency throughout the production process
- Assist with equipment start-ups, shutdowns, tooling changes, and downstream setups
- Learn and maintain knowledge of product specifications and packaging requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Consistently wear and utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and facility housekeeping efforts
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing, production, or industrial experience preferred
- Experience operating hand and power tools is highly desired
- Ability to safely use saws, grinders, and other production equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are a plus
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift schedules
